Bio: Jeff Carlson is the President of Glenwood Springs Ford. He is a native Coloradoan born and raised in Greeley, Colorado and is married to Nancy Carlson. Jeff is a graduate of UNC (Univ. of N. Colo.) and he started his career with Ford Motor Co in 1973 as a Planning Clerk. In 1979 he moved to Glenwood Springs and entered the retail automotive business as the Sales Manager of Glenwood Springs Ford. In 1982 he became partners with Jack Nilsson and by 1986 was majority owner.
Today Glenwood Springs Ford is the largest unit volume Ford Dealer on the Western Slope. Jeff has ownership in Glenwood Springs Subaru, and Summit Ford, as well. He is currently the NADA Director for the State of Colorado, Board Chair for Valley View Hospital, and has been the President of the Colorado Motor Vehicle Board. In his free time Jeff is a pilot, enjoys fly fishing, hunting, skiing, traveling, and attends golf courses.
